Second Annual Dollars and Sense of Going Green

The Dollars and Sense of Going Green Conference is a two-day educational program focusing on the green movement within the hardwood industry. Once again, Banks Hardwoods will be a proud sponsor of this second annual innovative gathering to be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel in northern Chicago November 19 and 20, 2009.

Last year's conference featured more the 250 wood industry professionals, suppliers and representatives. This year, event organizers are presenting an expanded program including subjects such as industry environmental practices, certified materials, green design trends, finishing emissions, recycling options and more. The conference is a result of a cooperative effort between the Department of Forestry at Purdue University and Wood and Wood Products, as well as the following associations:
